* Four inch and six inch precision winding heads: Available for wide range of wire sizes
and core sizes.
* Wire sizes: Wire sizes from #18 to #46 AWG may be used. The six inch winding head
will accommodate wire from #18 to #40 AWG.
* Wide core size range: With four inch winding head, sizes range from .055" ID to 2.25" O.D.
and 1.25" high. With six inch winding head, 3/16" ID to 4" OD and 2" high sizes may be wound.
* Variable speed: Ball bearing four roller drive rotates the shuttle at speeds up to 2000
turns per minute using either hand or foot controls.
* Removable shuttles: Twenty-nine sizes of easily removable precision shuttles permit
a large variety of cores to be wound.
* Jockey stick core positioning: The entire core holder assembly may be moved back, forward,
or sideways whilte the core is being wound --- a Gorman exclusive.
* Predetermined counters: Electronic counters guarantee accurate counting both for loading and
for winding. Dual preset electronic counter --- one for loading shuttle, one for turns counting and
Proximity Wire Detector is standard equipment.
* Constant core rotation: Three powered driving rollers insure even rotation of the core through a
variable speed range.
* Motorized core jog available now.
Core Sizes:
.055" I.D. to center of 2.5" O.D. with 4" head.
3/16" I.D. to center of 4" O.D. with 6" head.
Core Rotation:
Variable speed CW or CCW. Selectable by
reversing a belt beneath the machine.
