FEATURES
- The Model 900A Toroid Winder has many features not found on simpler
machines, which include choice of automatic sector winding, or manually
controlled core rotation, right or left, by a rocker switch.
- Two potentiometers set the loading and winding speeds and the machine is
operated by a hand or foot switch, or by a variable speed foot pedal.
- Standard equipment is a dual preset counter for loading and winding counts.
An internal footage counter is automatically connected when loading wire.
- There is a jockey-stick core positioner for moving the whole core rotator
assembly, and a core jog lever for CW or CCW core positioning.
- Winding speeds are up to 2000 turns per minute.
ACCESSORIES
There are three Winding Heads and three Core Holder Assemblies for the 900A
and 920b. All three heads are combination heads for Side Slider and Belt
Tension.
The Light Duty Core Rotators will handle cores from .055" I.D. to 2"
O.D. The Medium Duty Rotators will rigidly hold and rotate cores up to 4"
O.D. The new Larger Heavy Duty Core Rotators can accommodate cores up to 6"
O.D. and 3 1/4" high with wires up to 16 AWG.
The Light and Medium Duty Core Rotators have all three drive rollers
powered for positive drive rotation of the coils, even over protruding sectors.
Shuttles are quickly removed, includung the Belt Head Shuttles.
There is a 3/4 H.P. SCR controlled DC motor with acceleration control.
There is also a Taping Head for coils up to 6" O.D. and a pitch up to 1
inch per turn of tape
