GraphicJet 18PT
High-resolution inkjet printer with extensive possibilities.
Two print heads are linked to one controller. It is possible to print on one side of a box or tray or to print the same text or two differing texts on both sides at the same time.
The 18PT is perfectly suited for coding and marking porous materials, such as cases or individual products with up to 8 lines of text. Character height from 1.5 to 18 mm.

The Kortho GraphicJet 18PT in a nutshell

The compact printhead and the individual inking system make installation possible at virtually any point in a production line.Whether the printing must be done on the side of a tray or the top of a box.
Per printhead a large image area of up to 18 x 500 mm can be completely freely arranged. An image can be filled with text up to eight lines high, logos, time, date, best before date, barcodes, batch numbers and shift codes in various types of presentation. The character height of text is 1.5 mm at the minimum and 18 mm at the maximum. Text and pictures can be placed both horizontally and vertically in an image.

1 to 8 (16) lines, point sizes: 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 28, 48, 54 and 69 with standard font InkHr. Text is also assignable as operator input so that the user can change text using switch cabinet.
Automatic numbering
Batch codes, lot numbers, pallet numbers and other variables in various types of notation. Several number codes are possible in one image.

Automatic date coding
Best before date, production date and other variables in various types of presentation, such as the day of the year, day of the week, week of the year, in Arabic format. Several pieces of data are possible in one image.
A date is also assignable as operator input so that the user can change text using the switch cabinet.

Automatic time coding
Real time printing, in various types of notation. Several time codes are possible in one image.

Automatic shift codes
Up to 25 shift codes can be defined over a maximum of 7 days. Several shift codes are possible in one image.

Barcodes
EAN8, EAN13, EAN39, EAN128, UPCA, UPCE, CODE128 and ITF, with adjustable height and module width. Several barcodes are possible in one image. 		Graphic images
Logos can be imported into KIGS a black and white bitmaps. Depending on their size, several of them can be included in an image.

Free placement of images
All codes can be placed freely in the design field (18 x 500 mm). All codes can be rotated though 4 orientations: 0, 90, 180 en 270 degrees. For precision work it is possible to work with co-ordinates down to pixel level.

Print speed
The print speed is adjustable from 0.4 m/min to 35 m/min. With a displacement sensor the speed of printing is adapted to the speed of the product. Print position and print direction The position of the image on the product is adjustable, also during printing. The entire message can be stretched up to 9 times its size.

Continuous printing
There is the possibility of continuous printing with adjustable intervals of 1 metre.

Low ink alarm
Standard. The inking system is refillable during printing.

Internal memory capacity
512 kB up to 999 images. The number of images is limited on the one hand by the internal memory and on the other hand by the size of the images. An average image without pictures is between 1 and 5 kB in size.
