Graphicjet

High resolution on porous surfaces

The Kortho GraphicJet is high-resolution inkjet printer for printing on porous surfaces. So on cardboard and paper packaging, boxes, trays and bags and other porous (packaging) materials.
Even in far from 'printer-friendly' environments, the results are excellent. That makes the GraphicJet also suitable for (building) materials such as wood, polystyrene, brick and concrete.

Variable data, graphically a very sharp print result

The 185 dpi high print resolution gives a graphically very sharp print result. This makes the printer very suitable for printing logos, brand marks and other graphic forms such as barcodes.
The GraphicJet can print a great deal of variable data such as 8 lines of text - even up to 16 lines -, logos, time, date, expiry date, barcodes, batch numbering and shift codes in various forms of notation. The layout can be freely arranged. Text and images can be placed both horizontally and vertically in an image to be printed. The compact print head and the independent inking system make installation possible at virtually any point in a production line.

The software that makes the solution complete

Kortho GraphicJet printers are suitable for two options: stand-alone or PC controlled. There are two intuitive software packages available: KIGS and RAC.
KIGS (Kortho Image Generating Software) makes it possible to put together and manipulate images to be printed, on a PC. You can very easily design images with all sorts of automatic codes, barcodes, multiple line subject matter and graphic files in the print area of the screen. Fast and simple, so you can see exactly what will be printed in advance. In the stand-alone configuration the images are downloaded from the PC to the memory of a unique infrared remote control (Image Transfer Device) and then loaded into the controller of one or more GraphicJet printers.
In the PC-controlled configuration the Kortho RAC (Remote Access Control) software enables you to send messages to the GraphicJet printer. You can then manage all the printing parameters and the printer status from your PC. Via Kortho RAC you can also control different printers in a network. So you can handle everything that is printed on each production line centrally from one location in the company. Optionally, even a wireless network can be taken care of.
