Nomex® Brand paper & board can be punched,folded,and formed into complex shapes.High-temperature resistant insulation products with an excellent balance of physical and electrical properties. Made entirely from synthetic aramid polymer in two forms: short fibers (floc), and microscopic fibrous binder particles (fibrids).
Uses:
Nomex® slot liner insulation provides high reliability, even in critical motor application.
For exhibition crates and air transport when multiple protection features, such as water resistance, slowing rapid changes in humidity and flame resistance, are important.
For storing more fragile objects, such as garments or textiles, where conformability, flame resistance, and breathability are important. For cavity lining when packing three dimensional objects, for covering foam bracing blocks in packing, and when stretch properties are important.
