Products – Laminates

|
Glastic®
laminates offer a superior combination of electrical and mechanical
properties such as dielectric strength, flame resistance, arc and
track resistance, high-flexural strength and high-impact
strength.
These sheets are
fiberglass-reinforced thermoset polyester. They will not melt under
heat and have excellent overall electrical properties. All grades
are UL® recognized.
Glastic laminates also have
superior consistency in thickness, punchability and property
control. Add a high degree of quality and cost-effectiveness, and it
is no wonder that Glastic laminates have helped make Glastic
Corporation a leader in composite materials.
Electrical
Insulation All Glastic insulating laminates have inherently good
dielectrics. The various grades of Glastic laminates featured here
have been engineered to maximize the specific properties required
for a wide range of electrical and electronic applications.
Flame
Resistance Flame resistance meeting UL 94V-O specifications is
available in combination with a variety of properties.
Mechanical
Strength High-impact Glastic fiberglass-reinforced polyester
laminates won't shatter. Rigid laminates provide structural support
as they insulate. Flexible laminates are available for applications
which require a minimum bend radius of 3/4'' diameter.
Sheet
Sizes Glastic laminates are available in the following sizes:
49-3/8'' x 96'', 36'' x 72'', 48'' x 60'' and 63-7/8'' x 63-7/8'' in
thicknesses from 1/8'' to 1/4''. Custom lengths are available in 4'
widths.
Custom Grades
Custom grades of laminates and colors are available.
